Giovanni Civardi's Complete Guide to Drawing

This guide to drawing is one of the best! Printed in 2008, it is actually a compilation of previous work published under the series name "The Art of Drawing". There are 376 pages of quality illustration and text covering various materials and techniques, portraits, the clothed figure, hands and feet, scenery, and chiaroscuro. It is especially good at showing the use of multiple lines (as opposed to shading) when drawing human images.  An excellent resource.
